Sleep With The Fishes In Underwater Bedroom In Floating Hotel In Zanzibar


The Manta Resort’s new area on Pemba Island in Zanzibar is a tropical island resort area like any other — except that it floats stitched over a shallow coastal coral reef.

The bedroom, which has been opened only this season, is situated in an area below deck which has large seeing gles offering guests a view of this vibrant aquatic world out. Above all, a three-story arrangement offers guests all of the amenities of a normal hotel room, albeit with an unbelievable view.

By day, tropical fish and other ocean it feels like swim and float from the window. In the night, lights light the water out the chimney, bringing squids and other differently shy sea monsters. The entire issue is anchored about 250m from the shore. Can you envision being rocked to sleep with gentle waves, waking up in the daytime and diving into swim with tropical fish? If that’s the case, you also better picture sing out $1,500 USD per night for 2 or $900 USD for one occupant.

The founder of this living area, Mikael Genberg, initially established an underwater hotel area in Sweden known as Utter Inn (Otter Inn). The only room floats in the center of Lake Mälaren and, such as in the Pemba Island area, provides residents an enchanting underwater view of this lake’s fishes out of its own under-water bedroom.
